Twitter and the Twitter Domain referred to in all the statements refers to the website "www.twitter.com.au" and the Business named and registered as "Twitter" and "Twitter Australia" in Australia. Twitter is an Independent Australian Business Established 2006. Twitter is based in Australia and operates from the website www.twitter.com.au. It bears no or implies no relation to any other persons or site worldwide using the name "Twitter" partly or otherwise.
"Client" referred to in all statements means the Person, Business, Company or Organization who or will be advertised / promoted on our domain under "www.twitter.com.au"

These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.
Our Community Friendly Rules
Twitter (twitter.com.au) offers its services to "Community Friendly" Business, Organizations and Persons only. If you are unsure, please contact us to check. If we believe at any time that site or material submissions will venture outside the "Community Friendly" definition we will notify you of our concerns before accepting advertising.
Under our terms of "Community Friendly" we can not accept any of the following:- adult natured services or business (excludes mature products or dating sites), any radical political organization, any company that provides goods, services or promotes expressions that could be potentially harmful to the community. We will not accept material that is deemed offensive by us, adult only x-rated content, contains frontal offensive nudity, racial, promotes violence, discriminates in any way, misleading or makes unsubstantiated claims about its competitors or other products.
Terms and Conditions
If you do not agree with any of the following terms and conditions, do not use or continue to use this website. Continuation to use this site signals intention that you as a user agree with Twitters terms and conditions.
Twitter Advertising
1. Standard advertising fees and charges - There is a once-off set up fee of $6 for "Text Only", $12 set up for "Effective" and "Eye Catching". Current advertising rates are:- Text Only 19c per/day, Effective 29c per/day, Eye Catching 35c per/day. We do not charge GST at present. No set up fee is charged on advertising renewals unless changes are requested to your current image, wording or the layout. Limited small text changes are free. Changes requested during an advertising term that we consider exceed the fair limit of small text changes shall attract a change fee of $6 for "Text Only", $12 for "Effective" and "Eye Catching" for each request.
2. Payment Methods - Payment is acceptable by Bank Transfer, Cheque or Money order (via Aust Post). Sorry, but we do not accept BPAY or credit cards. Via PayPal attracts a 10% surcharge.
4. Cancellation and renewal - Clients will normally receive a renewal email notice from Twitter before expiry. A client that cancels or terminates any advertising during the requested advertising period forfeits any monies paid, irrespective of any time remaining. Monies payed are not refundable. Late payments on renewals may have advertisements deactivated until payment received is processed. A client that does not make payment for services provided will have their advertisement cancelled and forfeits any monies paid irrespective of any time remaining.
5. Free Promo clients - This applies to our SMS, Phone or Email contacted clients.
Free Promo offer is for a maximum single continuous term of 3 months. You may cancel at any time. There is no set-up fee or per/day rate charged for clients advertisements during the first 3 months unless changes are requested after activation. A set-up fee of $20 will be asked for any changes requested during the initial 3 month term. The free offer can apply only once per client. After expiry clients can renew their listing at Twitter's standard advertising fees and charges. If client cancels, offer is deemed void from further use.
6. Business Selection clients - Where clients have been met in-store or at premises with a rep from Twitter.com.au.
Advertisement term is for up to a 1 year from initial activation. No requested changes to clients image or text are allowed during this period. Client may cancel at any time. After expiry clients can renew their listing at Twitter's standard advertising fees and charges. If client cancels, offer is deemed void from further use.
7. XMAS Advertising Offer - Offer begins 9th Dec 2011 and closes 14th Jan 2012. It can not be used in conjunction with any other offer that may be available on twitter.com.au. Applications from current advertisers, previous advertisers or previous enquirers to Twitter.com.au may be unable apply for this offer. Clients may continue advertising with us at our normal rates and charges after the expiry of the chosen advertising term at the special xmas rates and will be given the opportunity to do so. After such term, normal advertising conditions apply. Any advertisements that do not accept a continuation to advertise with Twitter.com.au will be removed.
General Conditions
Twitter reserves the right to amend its fees and charges at any time. Any changes will apply on renewal or when a new advertisement is started, which ever comes first. All prices quoted are in Australian $ Dollars. Prices are exclusive of GST as we are not required by law to charge GST at present.
Twitter and/or its employees will not be liable for any physical or financial loss, injury, death or damage suffered from using the services or products found on this or via this site as a result of users or 3rd party customers utilizing goods, products or services found via our or a clients pages. In the event that such significant event should occur, Twitter may decide to cease temporary or otherwise such redirection or advertising with such client, merchant or trader. In any event Twitter will not accept liability of any description, liability for any negligence, including personal or otherwise, for any damages or losses including & without any limitation to the following:- loss of income, employment, business, profit, revenue or employees or consequential loss.
Twitter can not guarantee the accuracy or validity of information or quality of product found on the sites linked to. It is up to the user to verify all information directly with the merchant of that site / trader. Twitter can not guarantee the accuracy or validity of information or quality of product found on our site. The pages on this site may be updated from time to time and occasionally be out of date. Any information contained on Twitters sites financial or otherwise is only for visitors purposes only. You should not rely on this advise and refrain from making any decision or taking any action base on this information until seeking or professional opinion or consultation. Any order placed between the user and our clients offering such products and services is a shall be considered as a direct agreement/transaction between those two parties.
Twitter will endeavor to keep its site as best possible free from any defects, errors or omissions but extends no liability to any loss or damage that may arise from accessing this site or using any pages on our site. We are proud to utilize Australian rd party servers with 99%* uptime. Note*- As stated by the company that provides us server space.
We will however in good faith do our best to correct and amend any errors or malfunctions notified to us.
Twitter will do its best to make sure its site is free from computer viruses malicious, trojan or spam. In such an event we will take action promptly including temporary shutdown of site until resolved. No time frame can be imposed on Twitter as it is a moral and ethical obligation shall we decide to do so.

The design and its contents including Logo and images of this website may not be copied, reproduced, posted, republished, displayed or retransmitted in any form of any means without the express prior permission of Twitter. Twitter or any of its employees can be made accountable for any copyright or trademark infringements. Twitter retains the right to alter and change the content of its site at any time without prior notice.
